Pretty neat little write-up about the Coxes and S.B. Cox in a Mack Trucks publication at the link below. Love the racecars painted on the drums of the concrete mixer trucks.

Here's old website:
Dennis, can't speak about Cal's car, but DPME on Roy's was for Data Processing Management Employment, a Richmond data processing IT recruiting firm founded by Hilda Sledd in 1966. She passed in 2016.
Dave, remember you post on a old Roy Hendrick the following : You may remember when DPME was sponsoring Roy's Late Model Stock Car. DPME's owner, Hilda Sledd lived not far from me in Richmond and once helped me get a job. Her husband Ken was good friends with Joe Kelly and operated the "Pooh Pooh's Rose Garden" eatery stand during the Virginia State Fair and also had a place over near Piggy & Sonny Hutchins' Attache around Libbie Ave, and Broad Street in West Richmond.
What is DPME?
DPME TEMP.... painted in white letters on rear fender of above Cal Johnson wreck race car?
Also there's an "MASON AUTO" painted by the door of Cal Johnson wreck race car?
