Andy,These pics are actually from Oxford, Maine in July of '86. What a memorable Sunday. The Oxford 250 was always a one day show with over 100 entries. You could race all day and not make the show. In '86 they started 46 cars on a 1/3 mile track. Pit stops were three deep and no one had a clue where they were actually running or whom they were racing. You raced everyone like it was for position as there was no scoreboard. And there were four classes of cars all running in the same race.

That's the car that was virtually destroyed at IRP when Tommy Houston and Dale Earnhardt tangled coming out of the fourth turn. I asked Brett how he got involved, and he said, "I was just coming out of the pits at this freight train ran right over me!"
