This was his wreck at Darlington on 5/11/70, shortly after this the window nets where in use, Petty had a shoulder injury keeping him from running a 300 lap race at Beltsville on friday 5/16/70 it was the alst NASCAR GN race ever in maryland, but he was there to sign autographs!
