YORK, PA – On the second full weekend of July every year the pilgrimage of motorheads from all over our vast country begins toward York, Pennsylvania. They remember York not as the first capital of the United States but for the famous York US 30 Dragway that presented some of the drag racing world’s best events. It is not known for the “topless” event that never happened but for the largest single day drag race to be presented in its time, the ‘65 Super Stock Nationals that is known to this very day as the
“Woodstock of Drag Racing”.
A Decade of Presenting the Performance Heritage of this world famous drag racing operation that ran a regular Saturday night event from the early sixties until the final season in 1979 will be presented at the 10th Annual Musclecar Madness at the York Reunion on July 8-9th.
