Mike was already loaded and would be waiting for me on an access road on I-85 just outside the High Point city limits....Yea I'll be coming along about noonish if I have problems I call you and let you know where I am.As I was making my way north the rains seemed to be getting harder and the skies even darker than I liked. This isn't what I wanted to drive in.Pulling a open gooseneck 33 foot trailer with four car atop was going to be a nightmare trying to get it stopped with all the weight aboard.
As the miles clicked off our racing convoy finally made the speedway grounds. After a few handshakes and how's it going? we parked our rigs and talked to HSG members about how this weather should blow out of here overnite. So both Mike and I took our time unloading our race cars and getting them secured in the parking lots for these types of cars.If you've never attended a HSG show you really need to add it to your "BUCKET LIST".Best orgainized car show I ever attended. There are several paved parking lots to hold all the additional show cars that will be comming in as early as satuarday morning. He's were a tip-o the-hat to the folks of Bull City Street Rodders comes in,awsome job gang. For overflow parking the group decided to secure a drier grassy area to park additional cars if needed.Always prepairing for the un-expected the HSG are why they are so good at what they provide as HOST's of size event.
