This afternoon, as I sat thumbing through the various new material offered on Jayski’s “Articles Page”, I found surprisingly little that aroused my interest. Because I've been there and done that, I feel sorry today for those currently charged with the dubious duty of "spilling ink" for the motorsports network of your choosing on a daily basis.

We're a mere seven weeks into the 2012 season, and the NASCAR races are already bordering on boring, while some have surpassed that mark and moved right on to the "nap" category. Okay, last week gets a “bye” for being totally boring, only because the snoozer of the year at Texas was followed by what turned out to be easily the race of the year to date at The Rock. So what if it was a truck race? It was racing, pure and simple. Racing the way it used to be, and the way it should be again!
