MAY 8, 2012 LEGENDTORIAL

Sometimes, if only rare times, certain events fall into place as if there was divine intervention, or, at the very least, all the stars were aligned just perfectly.  Or, it may have been the “Super Moon” we had Friday night, or was that Saturday night? Whatever it is, or was, tonight’s Legendtorial has the implication of special magic and not the Disney type.  Let me explain.

When I sat down to write the Legendtorial for this week, I checked my e-mail first, as I almost always do when I sit before the computer.  I never know what good news, bad news, or whatever awaits me as I hit that log in to legendtim83@yahoo.com e-mail.  This week, there was a note from Jeff to let me know that Harold Brasington, III would be the in-studio  guest this week and I literally froze at the keyboard for a moment or two.  I had intended to write my Legendtorial this week about Darlington Raceway and what a special place it was for me.
