The Final Winston Cup Banquet Celebrated Champion Matt Kenseth

**Author's Note: This article was finished and ready for press, ironically before the news broke about Roush-Fenway Racing not renewing Matt Kenseth's contract for 2013. Now, it stands as a reminder to all, what a nice guy Matt is and has always been. He is a past Champion and at this moment leads this year's points. But... what have you done for Jack lately? Any further comments reserved for later in the week...

By way of explanation, many years ago, this writer presented a regular weekly column purporting to have been written by a rather questionable female reporter I called  "The Lady in Black." That "Lady" was sharp of wit and even sharper of tongue as she wrote race reports cloaked in nonsense for each race of the season. All were written with tongue planted firmly in cheek, and I often described the Lady as being more like me than I am. (To the fans that have begged for her return, I am sorry to disappoint both of you but she will not return.)

In one of last week's articles, I mentioned our current point leader, Matt Kenseth, and the fact that no one talks much about Matt or shows him much respect
