You can’t teach an old dog new tricks! Bet you’ve heard that most of your life, at least if you’ve lived anywhere in the South. Seems like I’ve heard that over and over all my life. But, maybe, just maybe, that is not exactly a correct axiom.
Please do not take any inference whatsoever that I am comparing my wife to an old dog, quite the contrary. But allow me to tell you about her ability to learn new things, especially new things as apply to technology that leaves her husband so far behind I will never catch up. Part of it, I suppose, is that I don’t want to. I was dragged into the technical age kicking and screaming and am still screaming. The last cell phone I got before the current one, I remember telling the guy all I wanted was a phone to make calls and text, no camera. The guy looked at me sort of puzzled and then told me “you can’t get a cell phone without a camera."
