Sometimes gentle readers, a writer is not sure just where to start, so please bear with me as I go back some 22 years to 1990, when Don and I stopped in Welcome NC to visit the race shop of Richard Childress, team owner of the #3 Goodwrench Chevrolet driven by Dale Earnhardt.  This was back before the "Museum" even existed, so "Shop" is the appropriate word, even though it didn't resemble your average garage, even then.
