You my remember last week, when I relived my first race, the 2003 Ford 400. A race in which a hometown hero faltered on the last lap with a blown tire. That first race sparked my interest in automobile racing and has lead me in many great directions. One of which, being my job at Atlanta Motorsports Park. This past weekend, I was experience my first race. This time, being a driver!

Now while I wasn't lucky enough to participate in an actual car race, I was a team driver in a 6 hour Endurance Go-Kart race at our track. The race took place at our .8 mile track. A track which features 43 degree decline/incline - the most of any track in the world. Our track is a road course set up with tight turns, long straight-a-ways and several chicanes (twists and turns).
