DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - This is the eleventh of eleven stories about ten individuals and one group who are legends in the sport of auto racing who will be honored at the Victory Lane Racing Association Awards Banquet being held at the Pelican Bay Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, February 18, beginning at 7 p.m. Today we are featuring Nina Cox, who will be presented the Lady in Racing Award by long time driver Morgan Shepherd, who is attempting to become the oldest competitor to ever make the field in the Daytona 500. Shepherd was one of 57 men who drove for Nina's husband, Marion Cox. The old saying is that for every good man, there has to be a good woman and I guess the same goes that every good woman has to have a good man.
