Great pic! This a pic of the back of Billy Meyer's head in the tower of the Texas Motorplex in 1988. This was a meeting about a "possible" new doorslammer class to rise from the Top Sportsman class. Left to right faces are Rob Vandergriff, Animal Jim, Bill Kuhlmann and Mike Thermos. Billy wasn't very receptive and it took him leaving and another season of Top Sportsman Quick 8's before the Pro Modified class was officially born.
