That would have been from his only Grand National start, at Pittsburgh on July 21st, 1959. He finished last completing 12 laps, right?

I looked it up and you very well may be correct. I had no idea he ever ran NASCAR, I just remember him from when he used to come run at Cloverleaf Speedway here in Ohio.

Something I just noticed--He's got "Bickerstaff" painted backwards on the front of the hood--Maybe to let ya know who was wearin out your rear bumper.
