Pedro Rodriques 1940 - 1971
Pedro never ran a Grand National race but he did race and win at Daytona.
In 1963 he won the FIA sanctioned Daytona Continental 3 Hour Race in a Ferrari 250GT.
In '64 he won the Daytona Continental 2000K race in a Ferrari 250GT with Phil Hill.

In 1966 the race was lengthened to 24 hours. In 1970 Pedro won again in a Porsche 917K with Loe Kinnunen and Brian Redman.
Pedro won again and for the last timein 1971 with Jackie Oliver in a Porsche 917K. Pedro would die in a crash in Germany before the year was out.
Before the 1972 running of the 24 Hours of Daytona the following appeared in the Daytona Beach Morning Journal.
