Billy Scott Injured In Race-Declared Winner 1972

After a final lap tangle with Stick Elliott, Billy was injured and hospitalized at Concord Hospital and later transferred to Charlotte Memorial. He was out of racing for a while but was declared the winner of the race in which he was hurt.
