Tom Goff, Castle Hayne, NC, passed away 2/20/09, after a brief illness. Tom was a late model competitor at the old Leland (NC) Raceway during the late '60's. Driving his familliar #01 "Bad Iron" Goffco Oil Chevelle, Tom was a frequent and worthy Leland competitor. After his dirt carreer, Tom became a Winston Cup car owner for drivers Dr. Richard Skillen, and Richard Brickhouse. The Goffco #78 entry successfully entered and competed in 18 Winston Cup events from 1974 until 1985. Mr. Goff's funeral will be conducted 2/23/09 in Wilmington, NC
