The Georgia Gang Dominated In NASCAR’s First Year

A lot of discussion have been held over the years about exactly how important Georgia drivers were to the first year of NASCAR. This week, we take a look at that top over at Georgia Racing History.com .

What if I told you that 38 of the first 52 NASCAR events held were won by members of the Georgia Gang? Furthermore, what if I told you that of 165 positions for the top three of each event, 92 were from Georgia?
