On Monday, the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame announced the five newest inductees to the Hall of Fame! They are George Elliott, Mike Head, Harold Kite, Swayne Pritchett and Ken Ragen.

It's a great group, and we're looking forward to this year's induction banquet, slated for Oct. 21 at the Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, Georgia. This week, we take a closer look at all five inductees over at Georgia Racing History.com .

In other news, the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame is working hard to get ready for the fourth annual Lakewood Speedway Reunion , scheduled for Aug. 6 at the Hall of Fame in Dawsonville.
