This week, we wrap up our look at the 2011 Class of Inductees into the
Georgia Racing Hall of Fame over at
Georgia Racing History.com .
When
Ken Ragan is inducted into the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in October, he'll carry a lot of racing history with him.
Ken's father, Hugh, was a long time car owner during the early days of NASCAR. Ken was a long time ARCA and NASCAR driver, and would later work with in the Legends car scene. Ken's son, David, currently drives for Jack Roush on the NASCAR Sprint Cup tour.
Ken's racing efforts carried the work ethic and determination that his father's did, and that carry over not only to his son David but to all the young driver's whose career he touched over the years.
On Oct. 21, the family will celebrate another chapter of their racing history, when Ken becomes a member of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. You can read more this week over at

If you're planning on going out to the
Advocare 500 at
Atlanta Motor Speedway on Labor Day Weekend, make sure to look for the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame's display there at the track! Several of our Hall of Famers will be on hand to sign autographs, meet the fans and be part of the great race weekend! Plus, members of the 2010 GRHOF class will be introduced to the crowd as part of the opening ceremonies! A special thanks goes out to
Ed Clark and his staff at
AMS for all their giving and hard work to help us honor our Hall of Fame members and to spread the word about the GRHOF! For more info on the race, visit
