This week, with practice underway at Daytona Beach for NASCAR's Sprint Cup series, we take a look at the driver both Bill France Sr. and Bill France Jr. declared as the best they had ever seen over at Georgia Racing History.com .
Lloyd Seay started out as a moonshine hauler out of tiny Dawsonville, Georgia. In 1938, he teamed up with his cousin, Raymond Parks, and would go on to become one of the greatest drivers of all time in a career cut short by violence. In other news, the 23rd annual Peach Bowl Speedway Reunion is slated for Jan. 29 at the American Legion in Austell, GA.
