Hi folks, I hope everyone is doing well week. This week, we take a look at a recent gathering of some of the state's great drag racers at Georgia Racing History.com .

GRH.com's Mike Bell traveled to Savannah recently for the 2012 Southeast Georgia Timing Association Reunion, where many former drivers, crew members, car builders and officials gathered to swap stories, catch up and remember the good old days. Mike not only brings us the story of the event, but takes us there with some terrific photos from the gathering. You can see them all over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Also this week, please keep GRH.com contributor and Georgia Racing Hall of Fame volunteer Cody Dinsmore in your thoughts. Cody took a spill this week and came away with a busted knee. We know he won't let it slow him down for long!

Happy Birthday wishes go out this week on Sept. 8 to Frank Warren and Georgia Racing Hall of Famer Randy Payne, on Sept. 11 in memory of Joe Lee Johnson (1929-2005), and on Sept. 12 to Georgia Racing Hall of Famer Ken Ragan.
