We've got a great new feature story for you over at www.georgiaracinghistory.com this week. With the 2009 Sprint Cup Championship chase now in the rear view mirror, we felt it was time to take a look a little deeper in the rear view.Way back before the chase, before corporate sponsorship and before power steering on race cars, Tim Flock and Herb Thomas did battle for the 1952 NASCAR Grand National (now Sprint Cup) title. The fight, the races and the finish were right out of a Hollywood screenplay! In the end, Tim Flock came out on top, but in a way few would have believed. You can read all about it over at www.georgiaracinghistory.com !Thanks folks, and I hope you have a great weekend!Brandon ReedGeorgia Racing History.com
