This week over at Georgia Racing History.com , we take a look at some fresh history that's about to be made.

When Gresham Motorsports Park, formerly known as Jefco Speedway, first opened, it was a NASCAR sanctioned track. It would go on over the years to play host to several NASCAR events in several different divisions, including Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Grand Touring, Grand American and the All Pro series.

This week, with NASCAR's K&N Pro Series coming to town, we take a look back at that historic past over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Happy Birthday wishes go out this week on Aug. 27 in memory of Weldon Adams (1928-1995) and in memory of Dale Singleton (1955-1985), and on Aug. 28 in memory of Wendell Scott (1921-1990).

Thanks everybody, and have a great weekend!
