This week, we remember one of the brightest young stars in the stock car sky over at Georgia Racing History.com .

In April of 1998, a special chapter of racing history was written in Georgia. That was when Adam Petty became the first fourth generation professional athlete by making is professional debut in an ASA race at Peach State Speedway, now known as Gresham Motorsports Park, in Jefferson, Georgia.

We remember this race and Adam this week over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Tonight's the night for the 2010 Georgia Racing Hall of Fame banquet. The banquet will be held this evening at 6 p.m. at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, Georgia, and will include some new features that we've never had at any previous event, including a special recognition of all our past inductees! For more information or to purchase tickets, just visit www.georgiaracinghof.com .

Happy Birthday wishes go out this week on Oct. 23 to Richard Johns and on Oct. 27 to Dick Trickle.

Thanks everybody, and I hope to see you tonight at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony!
