This week we hang a left turn down at the end of the front stretch as we look at one of the members of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame for you this week over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Gene Felton is one of the most versatile racers of all time from the state of Georgia. A veteran oval track racer, a competitor at the famed Peach Bowl in Atlanta, a winner at Road Atlanta and a competitor and winner at Le Mans and Daytona, Gene Felton has raced it all. From stock cars to sports cars, Gene's versatility and ability to win in all kinds of cars has proven he's a deserving member of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. This week, veteran motorsports writer Jonathan Ingram of Racin Today.com has a look at Gene's career, and you can read more about it over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Happy Birthday wishes go out this week on Nov. 13 in memory of Harold Kite (1921-1965) and on Nov. 17 in memory of Mike Swims (1964-2007).
