We all have our fovorites.
Looking at todays racing, the cars and the tracks, sometime I wonder why I'm still a NASCAR fan. As with many of you, the racing I loved is only a distant memory. Looking back at the era I loved I can't help but feel a little sad at some of the changes. The cookie cutter cars, and tracks, fail to excite me anymore but I keep hanging on. I loved Rockingham... and now she's gone from the circuit. I still love Darlington and Charlotte and I'm thankful they haven't been changed. I have to admit that I LOVE the new Richmond.What are some of your likes and dislikes? Favoite track or race. Favorite driver/team combination.Bumpertag in S. Carolina
Ya i like Charlote i think of the time when Harry Gant won the Southern 500 the next day he would be roofing a house somewhere in N C or when Cale Y won the Daytona 500 a day or two later he would plowing a feild somewhere in S C them guys were middle age and hard working now days these young guys fly off some to play with there toys or to sign autographs plus i think they have allready been payed
I like the sound of that. Unfortunately my son is starting his second year of college and I am officialy I am BROKE, BUSTED, not enough money to buy lunch. I sure hope he finishes in a few more years!
