I just learned tonight my great friend Mr. Jim Rathman is very sick and going into Hospice..Jim is a wonderful man and friend to many. Jim has been a great loyal friend to me and my family for decades! Our prayers are with his wife and we are praying for him! Jim is one of the finest men you could want to meet! Jim and i have no secrets between each other we both confided in one another to things we did not want to talk about to others.....we have had such a special bond for decades...My son who passed away too early a few years ago is named after Jim Rathman!! Jim,is just one of the finest men you could ever want to meet!He is one of the greatest Racing legends around.He won Indy and Monza Italy and many Soldier Field Races.
