If our friends at the Occoneechee Historical Society can preserve the right to keep the track and surrounding land from be dozed under they will make a statement and carry the banner for not only stock car racing history but historical places altogether. Let's hope they can rally enough support to put a stop to DOT and big government. There is one public official supporting the Occoneechee group, this official is worth re-electing.
