While combing through Google News Archive tonight, I stumbled across this neat article from the May 5, 1962 issue of [ The Spartanburg Herald ]. I don't think I've seen this article posted here before. Rex White certainly made a good choice. The world of stock car racing would be missing a great person and huge personality, not to mention a very talented race driver, had Rex decided on another career path. I enjoy each and every time I get to be around Rex. Awesome guy!!!!

If you never met Rex White --then you in for a treat.
One of the good guys that did finish FIRST in life and on the race track.
