I missed Friday's National Anthem at Phoenix, but they are 0/2 on Sat. and Sunday. Where do they find these people? Just a horrible desecration by two different ladies on two different days. NASCAR and Phoenix Raceway should be ashamed.
In all honesty...I thought (or at least hoped) that both the Anthem, and Command...would have involved more Patriotism...
I'll tell you someone who really desecrated the National Anthem before a race; it was at Richmond sometime in the early or mid 2000's, and they brought in a pop singer called Uncle Kracker. He received a well-deserved shower of boos after his 'performance'
jason your right - i remember that one - it was terrible - it shouldnt be hard to find good singers - i heard the gratefull dead at a baseball game in the eighties - those guys sounded good - knocked it out of the park .
