This was a Grand National East event that had GN cars, GA cars and ARCA cars in the field. By the way, the car Wayne Andrews drove was a '70 Mustang owned by Roanoke's Jack St.Clair. He drove the Ham car in 1974.

I think your right Dave, Charlie Blanton also drove this car.

Yep , Charlie won the 1973 ARCA race at DAYTONA in this car .

Johnny, I knew Charlie won the ARCA race at Daytona but did not know it was in this car. How COOL is that? The same car on dirt and Daytona.

Johnny, I grew up in Richmond. First time I ever saw Charlie he was driving (I believe) a pale yellow #10 Camaro at our June 1968 NASCAR GT race on the old half-mile dirt Richmond Fairgrounds track. The race was won by Donnie Allison in the Jerri Huggins #27 Mustang.

Charlie still lives in Gaffney S C and Igo see him from time to time . All those good ole boy drivers are about gone

I saw Chuck occassionally in the 70s when he came over to Wilson - very infrequently.
