Jivi Simpson passed away

I know most people know Jivi Simpson passed away Last week. He built and maintained many track Champion Cars at the Old Concord Speedway and all Local Speedways. I lived just down the road from his home and shop. He really helped me years ago. We went to hisfuneral Monday night. A large turn-out of people came. I know many people knew him and he will be missed...

Sad news. Rest In Peace, Jivi.

Thoughts and prayers to the friends and family. I had to have met Jivi at some point in time as I understand he was close with Billy Scott and even built some cars for him, or at least I think that is correct. It is always sad to lose another racing pioneer and hero. God bless.
