Nationwide Agents (Busch Wackers) and Camping World Campers

Ok NASCAR enough is enough with this crap!

When I started watching racing in 1997, the Nationwide (Busch, at the time) and TrucksSeries weredevelopmental series for young, talented drivers to cut their teeth in heavy stock cars/trucks.

Apparently, over the past 12 years, it has become the EXCUSE FOR CUP DRIVERS TO

STEAL FUNDS AND POINTS FROM FULL TIME NATIONWIDE/TRUCK DRIVERS WHO REALLY

NEED THEM!!!! Now I do understand the importance of learning to race with guys who have years of experience because you can learn from them, BUT not every weekend. This is another thing NASCAR has screwed up on (Go figure) because these young drivers have no chance of competing for wins, poles, or evenCup ridesto further their futures.

Here is my solutions to the on going issue:

1) Limit the number of Cup drivers in the fields each week to 4 or 5

2) Limit the amount of races to 5 or 6 that they can compete in each year

3) NO, and I mean ABSOULTELY, NO points toCup drivers who competes

NASCAR needs to take this problem by the horns and deal with it because this is causing the developmental series to be corrupted. I am hoping to get my shot to race in the futureand I would really not be happy if I was to DNQ ata racebecauseof Cup drivers.

NASCAR, I DO NOT LIKE JOE GIBBS,ROUSH RACING, and KEVIN HARVICK RACINGSERIES!!!!!

Iwant the competitive Nationwide and Truck Series to come back!

Kyle, these a very good thoughts and I wish it could be that way to give the drivers seeking to move up a chance to show what they can do without being overshadowed by the Cup guys. When I was coming up in the driving ranks, You started in Hobby. If you started winning everything, you were moved up WITHOUT the option of moving back. Then Limited Sportsman and when you got good you moved up to Late Model Sportsman but you didn't have the option of going back. Once you left Late Model and went up to Grand National, that was supposed to be the top. But very quickly, very, very quickly in fact. promoters learned that bringing Bobby Allison to Columbia Speedway to race Late Model on Thursday night when he was in Darlington for qualifying anyway was a big ticket seller. Guess you can't blame the promoter, but I agree that I wish it could be a stand alone series for Truck and for Nationwide. I guess we just keep wishing things would make sense but somehow, in the world of money chasing, things don't change when the dollars are rolling in.Tim

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

When the USARProcup comes to Hickory Speedway the stands are packed. So if NASCAR (Nationwide or Truck series) would start having races at the smaller local tracks I think it would increase their attendance at some of the bigger tracks. The reason being it would create more interest in them.

Excellent comment Russell and very true. The big tracks and shows of today came from the short tracks, dirt and asphalt, that established the history we try so hard to preserve here. Thanks for adding your comment.Tim
