Torch is Passed - Young Burton & Elliott Both Post Weekend Wins

Jeb Burton and Chase Elliott have made their dads Ward & Bill extremely proud this weekend and have some of us feeling a little long in the tooth!

Jeb won the Friday night NASCAR Truck race in Texas and Chase claimed the Saturday afternoon ARCA race at Pocono.

Congrats to the up and coming younger generation!

I didn't get to watch the ARCA race as I was at work, but as soon as I got home, I heard the good news. I'm so excited....just wishing I could see a video of the last few laps.

I am proud of both of those young men but, like you Dave, I'm feeling very, very old tonight. It was great to see Ward Burton again after so long and to have his son win. I guess without the Rowdy one there, others had a chance to show what they could do. I missed a lot of the ARCA race but what I saw was pretty good. Way to go Chase. I know you are bouncing around Dawsonville Cody.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
