Mike Helton is to make a special announcement in the drivers meeting today. But maybe the showers will hold off until at least half way.
The announcement will be a clarification of the start line area and on who starts the race even if the other spins his tires. This might be interesting though because the starting places or lines will be moved and policed differently...............
lets just watch and figure the outcome..
Response to Duck Boy's obvious, although uncalled jumping of the start last Saturday. The fan count at today's race may be very interesting as well.
And he just let us know AGAIN he has the authority -- now mind you it was no if's and's or but's but it was his way

Interesting race in Chicagoland (stupid name). I know the weather will get the blame for no shows but I had to fight more people in the check-out line at Publix than were in the stands at that race. Pathetic. Then, how about NASCAR's official costing Jimmie Johnson 2 seconds on a stop when there was nothing wrong but NASCAR did nothing to rectify their screw up. Then, Dale Jarrett points out, correctly, that Kyle Busch slows on a restart to prevent someone getting a run and he was not supposed to do that. It is more and more difficult to explain this sport.
