Young Race Fans at Occoneechee Orange Speedway

The Historic Speedway Group would like to thank everyone who attended the Celebration of The Automobile and Racers Reunion this past Saturday.What a great day it was.Would especially like to thank all the children and young people who sometimes get overlooked.We always want to be about the family.That is so much what racing has been about from the beginning.Attached are a few photos I made Saturday that I think add to the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words!!

You are so right, Laverne. The young people were everywhere and I was so happy to see that. To have these kids exposed to what we all love so much is a way to at least have a start on keeping the history alive. Thanks for all you folks do up there in Hillsborough. Your event is, indeed, the gold standard by which all such events need comparison. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
