After winning the pole, and being in the thick of the battle for the entire race, why did Jeff Gordon make that final Homestead pit stop with a only handful of laps remaining?

Jeff Gordon gave away 2 of the last 3 races. If he had won both of them, he would be this years champion by any system Nascar could dream up, and would have had one of the best seasons anybody has had in a long time, and also one of his personal best ones, too. Why he did it, I don't know.

I'm sure I don't know and I don't intend to speculate. Having said that, if you don't access other social media sites or sports sites, you should read all the speculation and rumors to that end. Very interesting, to say the least, and some of them actually make good sense.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

Gordon winning would not allowed their storybook ending of the Chase. Because no one could touch Jeff. IMO
