Grand American race #7 of 1970 was held at Savannah Speedway a 1/2 mile paved oval. Tiny Lund started on the pole with a record setting time trial run of 21.16 seconds (85.066 MPH) and went on to win his sixth race in a row in a Ronnie Hopkins prepared Camaro. Lund garnered $1,000 of the $6,985 purse.
