wickersham to return ?

75 year old reb wickersham is trying to find a ride for the frank kimmel street stock race at rockingham on nov. 27. wickersham hasn't raced since the mid-sixties to my knowledge. his best grand national finish was an eighth at the 1965 firecracker 400.

I was told the sponsorship may already be in place and that some of his pit crew has already been signed up . So as ole DW would say LETS GO RACING BOYS. I cant wait.

If memory serves correctly, he was involved in the fatal wreck with Buren Skeen at Darlington in 1965.

you are correct. i thought that might have had something to do with it. just wonder if he did any kind of racing after that.
