Hello, pretty new to this Forum stuff but thought I would give it a try. I am looking for the Wheel Stander Corvair Van called the Mystery Mover that my Father Jack Layton built back in the middle 60's. It ran at Niagara against the Little Red Wagon and others. Any Leads appreciated. Thanks,Bill Layton517-861-7308

Hi Wally, thanks for the picture, do you remember the Mystery Mover. A friend of mine from the Niagara area saw in the 1996 reunion program a picture of the Mystery Mover and suggested I contact you to find out if you might know where it is. I have been looking for it since Dad passed away in 2004, I have decided to build my own street version of the Mystery Mover as a tribute to my Dad. No wheelies but it will look the same and it will be called Mystery Mover ll.

Thanks,

Bill Layton

Thanks, Maybe you could noise it around a little, We are from Michigan and I know he had the Mystery Mover at Niagara probably in 1966 or 67. Bob Ries was the driver, and we ran against all of them at one time or another Hurst Hemi, Little Red Wagon, La Dart. and so many more. It would be a dream to find it somewhere and have it back in the family.

Thanks,

Bill
