Luther B. Breedlove Jr.

MCLEANSVILLE - Luther B. Breedlove Jr. 84, passed away Sunday April 10, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel.

Luther Breedlove was born August 27, 1926 in Greensboro. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II . Mr. Breedlove owned and operated Breedlove Radiator for 57 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a proud sponsor of Rumley Enterprise two race cars #5 and #6 that raced at 311 Speedway and Ace for 22 years. Most of all he loved and cared for his family.

Mr. Breedlove is survived by his wife Aleen Breedlove, sons Ronald Breedlove and wife Connie, Brian Breedlove and wife Jeri, Mike Breedlove, and Tim Breedlove and wife Cheryl, daughter Kim Breedlove, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service at Forbis & Dick N. Elm St. Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Building Fund at 5120 Burlington Rd. Greensboro, NC 27405, or the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 1132 Fairfax VA, 22038.

This was my Great Uncle, you will be missed Junior, but now there is rejoice as you will no longer be suffering. I know that you are in Heaven watching the greatest race of them all now.

Junior was a picuture of what a friend is supposed to be.He was a very smart and loving indiviual he was always there for those whom needed him. He was the type person that looked after his family and friends before himself. It was an honor to know Junior and he will be missed. by many. God Speed Junior....
