Happy Resurrection Day to ALL on Racers Reunion

Let's remember what today is all about, when we are sucked in by the marketing of Easter. The ham and potato salad being consumed in mass quantities.

This day like all others is a day to give thanks to the LORD, First for the day that the Lord has made and given us. Second, for the Lord in good and His mercy endures forever and He lives in us all who believe in Him. But this day is different as well too, as this is the day that we pick to set aside and celebrate the RISEN LORD! The tomb is EMPTY! Hallelujah! The Lord is Risen!

Holy Spirit, come and fill us all as we remember what this day is really all about!

Hint; It is NOT the Easter bunny, or the thought that eggs, grow on trees!

Jack Rousch injured in another place crash

I just read that Jack Rousch is in stable condition, from yet another place crash. he crashed a plane in a pond in Alabama in 2002.

Pastor Ken Sharpe Racers Reunion Chaplain update

To all my friends of Racers Reunion, I am wanting to give a quick update. I will be ministering at New Day Church in High Point, NC on 02/03/10 (wednesday night) at 7PM. I will be holding a 3 day revival at a local church in High Point NC, in the next month to 6 weeks. The date is not set yet. I will keep all posted.

All of my Racers Reunion family are welcomed to attend these events. Email me for directions.

I will also be leading a team back to Jamaica, sometime late spring or early summer. This is a 8 day missions trip. I will be ministering and holding healing services there as well as at the above mentioned revival.

If you are a believer and would like to possibly make the Jamaican trip with us, please email me, for further discussion.

Memory of those racers who left this world in the first decade of the 21st century

Friends of Racers Reunion,

I have not been on Racers Reunion much lately, as I have been doing ministry work all over. I have however not forgotten Racers reunion and the great folks who are a part of this special group. I would like to do a memorial page to those racers who left us in the 1st decade of the new century. years 2000 to 2009. Please feel free to add names to this list in your reply emails. I will be putting this together next month, so please send your memorial names in. Thanks.

My friends in Racersreunion,I want to ask a special favor at this time. Please be praying for my in-laws at this time. My father-in-law, Charles (Charlie) Perkins passed away in his sleep yesterday morning, in Carolina Beach NC. The family is doing as well as expected.We are so blessed as he had the chance to accept the Lord in the 11th hour. Mrs. (Handlebars) Walden is in need of immediate prayer, my friends.

Hey Guys, update on Mrs Walden. Sorry for not responding sooner, It has been a very hectic weekend. Mrs. Handlebars Walden, (Louise) was released from the hospital Friday afternoon. She was at Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.She did indeed suffer another stroke. Her 7th, yes her 7th stroke and she is still with us. Chalk that up the Man upstairs folks! This turned out to not as severe as first thought, but then again any stroke is severe.The cake on the icing is that she went to get up out of her hospital bed on Thursday evening and knocked over a cup of water from her food tray and then proceeded to slip and fall on the water, smack onto the floor. She shattered her right arm in five places., and hit her right eye.I was surprised that they sent her home after that, but they did. I stopped by her house Sunday evening and she was up sitting in her recliner, chearful as ever.
