Well if you slept through the race and woke up after the flag fell you missed the antics of Montoya in the beginning of the race(guess his left side of his face was bothering him)playing bumper cars.

It was the last few minutes of the race that was interesting.

First was the mishap with the 29-33-18 with Clint getting the wost of that. But then Kyle and Kevin was having trouble getting into pit road, but they finally got turned around and got into pit road. Thats where Kyle showed Kevin where to park after Kevin threw him a love tap. through the window.

Now Regan needed his win and Carl was the man with his encouragement after winning but the aftermath of the race could be the shot in the arm that racing needs. It sure as heck will give Nascar air time and print coverage .

Now lets hear what the trained eyes and minds of Racers Reunion Board of members have to say about the Lady in Blacks Sat.nite Ball

Loved the race. Lots of drama. But I felt like I was watching a Soap with multiple storylines. I used to live in Upstate NY and the town where Regan Smith comes from is Cato, NY a very small rural town. I bet the town is happy about this. Congrats to him and his team they earned it. Glad to see someone like him win. Carl Edwards showed alot of class congratulating him and racing him clean. I was pleased to see the sportsmanship on the part of Brad Kesolowski and Greg Biffle congratulating him in victory lane.

The stuff between Kyle and Kevin was no surprise. The two hate each other. I was beginning to think finally Kyle has grown up and matured. Once again i guess not. Him spinning Harvick was uncalled for after Bowyer wrecked. Harvick needs to just remember one thing. REMEMBER TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK!!!!

A most sincere congratulations to the Furniture Row team and Mr. Smith. Needs to have a movie made "Mr.Smith Goes to Victory Lane". Obviously he can drive, he qualifies well and he did win at Talladega but for the "yellow line". I was really pulling for him but really didn't think he would hold off Carl and having seen Carl launch Brad at Atlanta last year I was trying to determine just where he was going to launch Regan into the wall. My compliments to Carl for racing him clean but, could he even get close enough to launch him? Didn't look to me like he could.

As for the Harvick-Busch incident, I wasn't in either car, obviously, but I do think Kyle was a little too over reactive to what I saw happen and then watched even more closely during the replays. The first Harvick-Busch brush earlier that lap was simply Darlington racing. The next incident was Bowyer trying to make it three wide coming out of the turn and the Harvick bump to Busch was the result of being pushed into him by Bowyer. Kyle came out swinging which, considering the price of the equipment ruined was sort of stupid, if you ask me. I do have to say, however, that there is a stop sign in our neighborhood that the same woman has "run" twice in the past 6 months and when I have to slam on the brakes to keep from hitting her, and then SHE flips me off, I can understand why he did it. Driver agression. One day I'm going to forget to step on the brakes and she'll be called to the "office".

And, I hate to get on this soapbox again, but I swear if FOX doesn't do something with that D.W. and his mouth, inane, stupid, ridiculous comments, I am going to refuse to watch the races period. He exceeded his usual level of disgust with me last night.

Tim

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

I'm happy for Regan Smith - just as I was for Trevor Bayne. I think Regan is a good kid, too, and an asset to NASCAR racing. When he was Rookie of the Year a couple of years ago and then didn't even have a ride for the follwing season, I felt sad for him. Then I was happy for him when he got the Furniture Row ride. He has shown in the past that he is a talented driver, so I'm happy to see him get that first win. As for the situation between Kyle Busch and Harvick - we have here a feud between two talented drivers (I believe Kyle wins the talent contest), but I believe Harvick is the one who will be penalized for his actions.

It WAS nice to see Regan hold off the "regular" winners. As for the last 4 laps....the air got let out of the BLOATED heads of two drivers in the RCR army. NASCAR'S "commercialism" team NEEDS to be taken down a notch, every now and then. Speaking of which, one would wonder how much $$$ they PAY that "smuck" that drives the #18, to put on such a ticket selling, TV rate boosting, MORON show, week after week. Not ever, in the history of NASCAR, has there been as big of an ass, is THAT guy. Nobody, can be born THAT bad. It all makes for the next round. Dover will be practice...then the ALL STAR....the WWF night, 1 1/2 mile, concrete CAGE match. Wonder if it will be a "tag team" match, or a BATTLE ROYAL..every one for themselves.

I was just wondering..is there ANYTHING that Old Darrell Waltrip isnt an "expert know it all" about?.....good grief, his mouth doesn't stop from the green flag, on !!! He can even explain the "aerodynamics" of a hot dog wrapper, blowing down the front stretch and how it will be affected going into turn one!!!!.....what an encyclopedia of expertise!!! NOT!!!!!! If he is such an authority on racing knowledge, why isn't he on top of a pit box, with a team ????? Thank the Lord for Volume controls!!!!!!!

Well... the ultimate would be the Daytona and Darlington 'happily ever afters", running 1-2 at the start of the LAST segment......Ironman and Tacoman about half way back, and the K&K match up in the rear..not selling insurance(only old school knows what I mean).........
