In spite of all the flack, I thought Carl Edwards did a fantastic job in the broadcast booth at Darlington on Friday night for the Nationwide race.

Hats off to Carl. I see a bright future out of the car for the young man. What a contrast to those two unnamed brothers I had to endure Saturday night.

Quack, Quack. Good job, Carl.

I think he is very capable of doing both,as you see he was very relaxed Fri nite and more relaxed Sat. nite. He doesnt rile like that guy from Las Vegas do. Ned is in a box all by himself after Benny moved on to better places.

I was impressed that PKL didnt respond to Dave in flaming colors today----but wait---- it isM O T H E R S---D A Y Enjoy

Thank you, Johnny, for pointing out the use of "normal" colors. I should have thanked--- and wished her and all the other moms a Happy Mother's Day!

And you speak of DW??? He played around with one in Ky and Tenn for a few years... they taught him a thing or two up there too so he didnt learn off Darlington or how to handle her---he never did in fact..

We have been invited out to a 1:30 dinner by one daughter and grandson very nearby and planned to join the other and our other grandson at a beautiful lake later in the afternoon to watch them drown some worms. But the weather forecast is not promising.

I kept "ducking" in and out to watch the race between cleaning with my "feather" duster. Then I had to go in the yard and spread fertilizer on the lawn. What parts I caught of the telecast, on Carl "quacked" me up. I did hear that he had to be restrained from back flipping off the roof of the tv booth.

I will say that Carl did an admirable job. He was quite good and I enjoyed him. To compare him with the imbeciles from Kentucky is totally unfair because Carl is so far above that class of people that to do so is like comparing apples to crabapples. I do think Carl may have had tongue in cheek when he was praising Keselowski's driving.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
