A STATEMENT HAS BEEN PRESENTED

Richard Childress stood on his elevated perch and watched the whole thing unfold. The garage area watched as "3" emerged onto the track. The audience watched as the "3" qualified.

The crewchiefs watched as the statement was made.. And the statement was "Cant touch this" ... He was smooth and dead on as far a line goes but a few statements were made afterwards as to if pressure will rattle his cage, as Dale used to do..

But I know some see it another way , Dont you!!

I heard he was in hot water for having his car fail the to wide laser check by 1- 10.000 of an inch. they have got to be kidding. Any one wanting to cheat or be creative would certainly go for wider than that.... Sounds like a deal to swing some smoke over the "gift" the pole car received.....jmo.

lol, I think it was because of the width of his car Johnny, He couldn't squeeze it thru that little space....

Hamlin made a couple of statements. One with the car. The other, "Any Questions?".

Here's how you squeeze it through a little space.... courtesy of JAck Redd describing a race he witnessed at Beltsville, MD won by my racing hero:

there was the time Ray Hendrick passed between two cars blocking him taking off both doors and he won.
