There was a great 100 lap short track race broadcast on tv Sunday. Anyone watch it? Or was yall to busy watching a group of guys run from one end of a cow pasture to the other without stepping in something, falling in something while chasing a guy with a little ball.

Now the New Hampshire race started out as boring as you could ask for. Single file with the occasional stop for gas, tires,or a trip to the garage/bathroom.

Seens as though the crewchiefs are getting a little rowdy as Darien Grubb told Denny to "keep your mouth shut" while he was in the garage fixing a fuel problem.

But then the show started, Joe Gibbs Racing started the show off with a bang, Kyle and Matt started testing the sheetmetal on the Toyotas.

Then that white bullet with a 2 on it slipped n spun, but rallied back up to the front. kyle worked the cautions to work his way back to 8th place

On lap 193 Brad spun but worked himself back to the front in contention but eventually finished 7th.

Joey Logano won the race by virtue of sliding through the cracks in the wrecks.

Now with only the one race remaining before four drivers are eliminated from title contention, things have tightened up from eighth to 16th in the Chase standings.

With Keselowski and Logano already locked in, Kevin Harvick sits third in the Chase standings with a 41-point buffer on 12th, followed by Jimmie Johnson (+31), Earnhardt Jr. (+28), Kyle Busch (+28) and Gordon (+21).

Next week the concrete roller derby will be the telltale show for the guys providing they dont step in something or worse. Now who has that coin all those guys seem to be after that the guys in the black n white stripes are holding?

No little round balls were hurt in this !!!

Earlier this year I was lamenting about howe bad the Roush team was and that their engines were dragging down every other Ford team. Seems that Penske found a way around that. Roush should sell his team in the off-season and send Stenhouse over to RPM because none of the free agents in Cup are any better than Ambrose was.I never thought Logano was any good but I guess he fits Penske better since Joe Gibbs is no slouch.I was sure that Junior realized he was running out of time and he had finally decided to put his shoulder into it and win the championship. Now it looks like he just isn't good enough. I still see greatness in him somewhere but not on the track.Still haven't decided who I'd like to see as champion.

I don't think it will take much patience before he wins one. I hope it isn't Talladega, that would be like getting your first victory in a rain-shortened race. They always say that anyone can win a restrictor plate race and I think that takes away some of the prestige, even for the Daytona 500.
