Once again, a crying need for the services of The Legend's OBBAMA group was demonstarted this morning by Roger Penske. Wonder who wrote this crap? Wonder what part of the decision was mutual?

Penske Racing, Kurt Busch Mutually Agree to Separation
December 5, 2011

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (December 5, 2011) - Penske Racing announced today that it has reached a mutual agreement with driver Kurt Busch to end its driver/race team relationship, effective immediately.

The team will evaluate its options for the driver of the No. 22 Sprint Cup Series car in the future while Busch will seek new opportunities with another race team.

"I appreciate the victories that Kurt has brought Penske Racing and our sponsors over the past six years," said Roger Penske. "While I am disappointed that Kurt will not be racing for our team in the future, both Kurt and I felt that separating at this time was best for all parties, including our team and sponsors. I wish Kurt the best in his future racing endeavors."

"I am grateful to Penske Racing for six very productive years," said Busch. "Together we won a lot of races -16 in all. Leaving a great organization and a lucrative contract is not easy, but it's an important step for me and allows me to take a deep breath to work on things that can make me a better driver and a better person. I want to personally thank Roger Penske for the opportunity that he has given me."

Penske Racing is one of the most successful teams in the history of professional sports. Competing in a variety of disciplines, cars owned and prepared by Penske Racing have produced 350 major race wins, 412 pole positions and 23 National Championships.

Thanks for the free plug Dave. Someone needs to write better statements than this bull. I am beginning to believe that everyone involved in NASCAR and all the teams assume that race fans are the dumbest people walking the eart, even less intelligent than the basketball fans who turn over police cars and set fires to buildings to celebrate their team winning AND/OR to show disappointment at a loss. What a travesty.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

LOL toomuchcountry!

I am glad to see that it was presented to the media in a gracious (yet obviously staged) manner. Good luck and safe racing to all. JB

For those who cannot read between the lines, here is a translation.

What Roger Penske is really saying:

"Yeah I am disappointed in Kurt. Sure he won alot of races but I was growing tired of him throwing my team under the bus and upsetting sponsors. I built a world class team and attracted world class sponsors. He upset Miller Lite, so I moved him to the Pennzoil car. He upset crew chiefs and because of that I lost some great crew chiefs. I was ticked when my crew chiefs left and Pennzoil is on the phone telling me some things I cannot say publically after what happened at Homestead. I finally just called Kurt into my office and said, I cannot take this anymore, do you really hate my team and the way things are run? He said yes and I said, ok, you are fired then. He had some choice words and proceeded tobreak a trophy in my office. I said, "Wow like your brother." and he went crazy.I had security escort him out and he just said, fine, and then proceeded to say some colorful language to me. I did back. I said want meto mention this episode to the press? He calmed down and I agreed not to bring it up.So yah it was mutual. I told him you just show what a good person you are in a prepared statment and I will not bury you or mention this episode."

What Kurt is really saying:

Yeah I thank Roger Penske for hiring my butt after Roush threw me to the curb. We had a mutual arguement. He called me into hisoffice. Asked ifIhated his team. I said yes. Hesaid I was fired. He said some things about my manhood.I took exception to that. I broke a trophy in his office and he ticked me off with his remark about my brother. Then I justsaid there we are even, "THERE FIRE ME NOW!!" So he said, ok, you are fired. Then he said he would tell this story to the press if I did not write or have someone else write me a prepared statement. What was I to do?
