I am so pleased by pre-Daytona 500 entertainment will be the sermon my more than excellent pastor will preach that morning. And that won't cost me $164.00.

I hope to be pulling up my driveway at home when he is singing and we will be unpacking from our trip to Daytona as they sing the National Anthem and my big but will hit the recliner as they take the green flag. But no I will not buy the $164.00 ticket I can see better on the 55 inch screen in the living room dont have to dodge beer cans and chicken bones nor the extra wide loads next to me and gladly will not sit in traffic for hours waiting to get on the highway. That recliner looks better and better. I do look forward however to seeing some friends in Daytona that I don't get to see elsewhere.

I would have been surprised if your were...into dreadlocks, bling to the navel and such...lol. I never like big hair, big boobs...and such, but Dolly Parton is a helleva singer...well maybe that's not entirely true, but she can sing!

Ole Dolly is a hoot! She found her gimmicks (to look like the town hooker) and stuck with them through thick & thin. She is consistent. Can she sing? Nah, not too well, but she's a heck of a songwriter whose royalties from Whitney singing her song provided an unexpected bonanza. Besides, what is the name of Lenny's amusement park?!

I think it's Lennywood or something like that. Hope you know I was kidding about Ms Dolly. Remember, I'm an East Tennessee ridge runner. We're mighty proud of (as Porter Wagner called her) "pretty Miss Dolly Parton". She's like family to anyone who lives within 100 mikes of Sevierville, TN.

LOS ANGELES - Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.

Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen told KABC-TV that Houston died in her room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton. Her body remained in the hotel and Beverly Hills detectives were investigating.
