Matt Hirschman,Northampton,Pa.wheeled his Hirschman's Garage and Speed Troyer to
victory this evening in the 25th Annual Richie Evans Memorial at New Symrna Speedway.
Hirschman worked his way thur the pack and into the lead late in the 100 lap event for the
Tour Type Modifieds.James Civali had a great run to come home in 2nd place followed by
Ron Silk,Rowan Pennick and Kyle Ebersol.Hirschman and his family celebrated the win in
victory lane.Hirschman continues to win the largest and most prestigeous events in the modified
ranks and the history of Evans wasn't lost as Matt paid tribute to Richie in victory lane.
Ted Christopher won his 8th World Series of Speedweeks Championship to wrap up the nine
nights of racing action.
The 8th Annual Pete Orr Memorial for the Super Late Models victor was Jeff Choquette who
ended the week on a high note.Choquette ran strong all week long only to see earlier victorys slip away
in the tech area.Choquette wasn't going to be denied tonight as he dominated the 100 lap event.
Alex Hasse,David Rogers,B.J.McLeod and Daniel Webster rounded out the top 5 positions.
B.J.McLeod is your 2010 WSS Champion in the Super Late Model division.
The Limited Late Model drivers ran 25 laps this evening with Austin Pickens picking up the
victory on the final night of action."Young Gun"Ben Kennedy came under the stripe in 2nd place.
Todd Allen is your 2010 WSS Champion of the Limited Late Model Division.
The Pro Trucks wrapped up the evening with T.J.Duke winning both the feature 50 lap event plus
the 2010 WSS Championship.Kevin Henry and Cody Blair ran 2nd and 3rd in the feature.
Sean Bass won the 2010 ASA/Crate Late Model Championship.The 44th Annual World Series
Of Short Track Auto Racing was a huge sucess!New Symrna Speedway is located 15 miles
south of Daytona on Fl. state route 44,racing 52 weeks a year on Saturday night's.By the Grace
of GOD and 600 horsepower,hope to see you at the races.
